Jen's first exposure to the field of medicine happened her junior year of high school. She began working that year for a family medical practice delegated with responsibility for pulling charts and confirming appointments. It was a start and it wasn't long before the practice knew they had a gem in hand and started assigning Jen all aspects of front office patient coordination from scheduling, triaging, escorting the patients to the procedure rooms, prepping them for the doctor and taking x-rays. Loyalty and dedication, as our patients know, are Jen's middle names. She ended up working for that family practice for over eighteen years.
Other changes in her life, and a great deal of luck, brought Jennifer to the Dover area and into the employment of Piscataqua Plastic Surgery & Skin Care as it's administrative assistant. This was the PERFECT environment for Jen as Piscataqua provided a medical specialty, helped people of all sorts, backgrounds and experiences to feel better about themselves, employed a staff that practiced the team approach to work, with a strong dose of good humor thrown in, and a patient base that generally appreciates good service, good treatment and the opportunity to mend, heal and rejuvenate themselves.
In August of 2007 Jennifer earned herself the position of Patient Coordinator for Piscataqua Plastic Surgery & Skin Care. She is, in that position, the ambassador of patient flow and satisfaction, and considers (in her own words mind you) that "Every phone call to the practice is a gift she looks forward to opening". We questioned her honesty with that one, but you check it out for yourself. Call the office anytime and if Jen answers, chances are you'll hear the joy.
Beyond her responsibilities as Patient Coordinator, assuring daily that all of the practice's patients get the personal attention and service that they deserve, Jen is a master makeup artist. So feel free to tap her expertise and get some tips. She'll be more than happy (joyfully in fact) to assist you, in whatever way she can.
