SurgiWire

The SurgiWire procedure is a new approach to removing deep facial lines, scars and depressions that is quick to perform and highly effective. It enables your doctor to release the underlying attachments in the skin that cause noticeable lines between the brows, or along the sides of the nose. Depressed acne scars may also be improved.

The SurgiWire procedure can be performed under local anesthesia in the doctor's office in about an hour. The doctor makes a few tiny punctures in the skin with special needles and directs a very fine surgical wire under the skin beneath the wrinkle. The wire is removed completely and the deep line is released. There are no incisions.

After your procedure, you may experience some temporary swelling and bruising in the treatment area, which may take a week or so to completely resolve. The first night , it is important to rest with your head elevated to decrease swelling and bruising. You can use a cold compress for comfort and to help control swelling. Medication may be prescribed for post-treatment discomfort. If you're like most SurgiWire patients, you'll be very pleased with your refreshed appearance, although it may take a few weeks or more to see the final results. Results last a variable length of time. A number of factors, including heredity and lifestyle, all play a role in your long term results.
